As Hurricane Isaac nears the Gulf Coast states, residents are starting to experience storm surge. A resident in Panama City, Fla., estimates a 3-foot storm surge in her yard as a result of the storm.

As Isaac nears landfall, the Gulf Coast states are starting to experience its wrath. In Mississippi, this beach and the road are both underwater due to flooding. Hurricane Isaac is expected to make landfall Tuesday or Wednesday.
